A cognitive-neuropsychological approach to investigate attentional processes in depression
The aim of this project is to investigate the cognitive-neuropsychological mechanisms underlying attentional shifting in depression. A Garner paradigm will be developed to explore attentional shifting. The neuropsychological correlates associated with this attentional problems will be investigated with Event-Related Potentials (ERP). In this project it will also be investigated if attentional shifting can be considered as a cognitive vulnerability factor for depression.
