Combatting Japanese knotweed
Managers and policy managers in Flanders dealing with problems caused by Japanese knotweed have a clear need for the exchange of experiences and knowledge about controlling and combating this invasive species.
Therefore, recent initiatives have been taken to establish a knowledge network. The knowledge on and experiences with Japanese knotweed are varied and are spread across different agencies. However, the efficient exchange and further expansion of knowledge are not yet guaranteed.
With this project we want to build an active community of practice that is able to permanently organize the necessary exchange.
