Project

Computational neuroimaging of object and face recognition.

This project supports advances brain scan studies ("computational fMRI") of the neural processes behind high-level visuel perception, such as the recognition of faces and other objects. More specifically, we will analyze the fMRI data to focus on the multi-voxel pattern of activation across multiple small spots in the brain ('voxels'). These techniques enhance the sensitivity with which we can measure what happens in the human brain.
