Design and control of air scrubbers for animal housing systems

This doctoral research project focuses on the optimisation of air scrubbers for the reduction of ammonia, odour and greenhouse gas emissions from animal housing. Particular attention is devoted to the interactions between the various types of emissions and its implications for process design and control. This goal will be achieved through a combination of modelling, simulation, lab-scale and full scale experiments.
