Dynamics in the world city network 2000-2008: a longitudinal network analysis of contemporary globalization processes

This project aims to reveal the main determinants of connectivity change in the world city network. This longitudinal analysis is based on a unique dataset that was put together in the context of the scientific cooperation between the 'Globalization and World City'-research group and the 'Chinese Academy of Sciences' for three different points in time: 2000, 2004 and 2008.
