Evaluation of teacher education from the perspective of training and education in compulsory education

The decree on teacher training in 2006 led to innovative ideas in Flemish teacher training, focusing on innovation, professionalism and excellence of our teaching staff. To evaluate whether the teacher education by achieving the government target quality, in this study the Context Input Process Output Model - the CIPO model - applied (Scherens, 1990; cf. the CIPP model Calder, 1994). For the teacher added a fifth pillar '' Succession '(follow-up). This policy starts from the perspective of all stakeholders. This research proposal chooses the perspective of the training institutions and primary and secondary education institutions.
