HISSTER (STAGE 2). Development of a database of 19th and 20th century Belgian mortality statistics available at the local level

HISSTER aims to generate and develop a central database of historical statistics concerning Belgian mortality available at the local level since 1830. While the 20th century was the main focus of the first stage of development of the database, stage 2 is primarily concerned with the 19th century statistics.
