Project

i-4-1- Health (i-4-1-Health)

The aim of i-4-1- Health is to provide insight into healthy citizens, patients and the (intensive) pig and poultry sector in order to better prevent, control and combat this. To this end, the project develops innovations in a strong partnership with which infection risks can be identified in a uniform manner. In addition, the aim is to generate insight into which ARZ are present in the border area, as well as how these ARZ spread within and between the testing grounds. The project aims for improved patient safety, public health, care for animals and responsible food production through research and innovation. For the development, implementation and validation of the innovations, an interdisciplinary and cross-sector collaboration is set up in the border region through experimental care, public health and livestock farms, in which knowledge is bundled and data is exchanged.
