Thinking and Doing: from Fundamental Insights to Translational Applications

This project studies cognitive-motor dual tasking, which refers to concurrent cognitive (Thinking) and motor tasks (Doing). Although this kind of behavior is very common in daily life (for example driving a car, crossing a street,…), its mechanisms are poorly understood. This project will combine fundamental studies investigating the behavioral and neural mechanisms of cognitive-motor dual tasking with an applied section in which Thinking and Doing will be studied in an educational context using a citizen science approach.
