Project

Laser illumination system for laser-based widefield fluorescence microscopy

Laser-based widefield fluorescence microscopy is a unique technology for investigating the transport and stability of nanomedicines in biological media. The requested funding for the laser illumination system is esential to keep the unique laser-based widefield fluorescence microscope up and running in the coming years. Moreover, the new powerful lasers will enable us to introduce 'localization based super-resolution microscopy' at UGent.
