Manin matrices and non-communicative algebraic geometry (FWOTM692)
Manin matrices were introduced by Yuri Manin in his investigation of the symmetries of non-communicative spaces. There are matrices where the commutativity between the entries is relaxed in such a way that many of the standard determinantal identities continue to hold.
