Mechanistic understanding of the response to low-dose radiation in plant differing in radiosensitivity: molecular profiling of radiation-exposed Arabidopsis thaliana and Oryza sativa (R-6390)

This research agreement between Hasselt University and the Belgian Nuclear Research Centre (SCK-CEN) concerns the PhD of Jackeline Mwihaki Kariuki. Her dissertation was entitled "Mechanistic understanding of the response to low-dose radiation in plant Differing in radio sensitivity: molecular profiling of radiation-exposed Arabidopsis thaliana and Oryza sativa." The project will be carried out within the research group Environmental Biology of the Faculty of Science. In close cooperation with the unit Biosphere Impact Studies of SCK-CEN.
