Oversampling of schools in the Brussels-Capital Region for the 'periodical survey on world studies (time, space, social studies and use of sources) in primary education'.

This research project forms an addition to the national assessment on environmental studies (domain time, space, social studies and use of sources) for primary education, which is in itself part of the long-term agreement 'National assessments of pupil performances in compulsory education' between the Catholic University of Leuven and the Flemish Ministry of Education and Training. The purpose of the project is to make meaningful comparisons between Flemish school located in Brussels is added to the main study. To investigate whether there are systematic differences among schools, classes and pupils in test performance, and whether characteristics at the level of students, classes or schools co-vary with these differences extra multilevel-analyses are carried out on the data grom the schools in Brussels.
