PhD position - Organic synthesis of fluorinated compounds

‘Enabling SF5 introduction: Paving the way toward unexplored bioisosteres and novel PET radiotracers’. The main goal of the doctoral studies consists of developing novel synthetic methodology to gain entry to fluorinated sulfur species. Experiments will focus first on exploring useful transformations, then method optimization and finally synthesis & characterization of representative sets of examples. The findings may then be extended towards 18F-radiolabeled counterparts.
