Research on Antenna Designed for Brain Activity Detection

The study will be mainly focused on the design of brain activity detection antennas. The brain-computer interface technology has developed rapidly in recent years, but most implementation relies on the acquisition of EEG. The analysis of human brain activity by EEG data is limited in terms of effectiveness. Therefore, simulation based on the electromagnetic model of the human brain will be carried out in the research, and antenna which will be implanted in the brain will be designed based on the simulation mentioned above. Also, the antenna will be fabricated and tested using a brain tissue model. In addition, brain implant devices also require antennas to communicate with external systems as part of a treatment plan for patients with brain lesions. Therefore, the prospects for this research are promising and have practical implications for advances in the medical field.
