Sabbatical Agnes Moors: Book project “Emotions: theories and empirical research”

I plan to finish the writing of a book on emotion theories, entitled: “Emotions: theories and empirical research”. In 2014, I was asked by Keith Oatley to write a book for the series "Studies in Emotion and Social Interaction," published by Cambridge University Press. This is the longest-established book series published by a university press in the field of emotion research. Among distinguished authors who have published in it have been Paul Ekman, Nico Frijda, Klaus Scherer, Alice Isen, Anna Wierzbicka, Joe Forgas, Tom Scheff, Patrick Hogan, Carol Magai, and Jeannette HavilandJones. After the invitation, I wrote a book proposal, which was approved by an ad hoc composed review committee. A large part of my research consists of theoretical work.
