Soil moisture retrieval from radar and radiometer remote sensing in support of water management

The project investigates how remote sensing can provide observations of the soil moisture content of the EarthU+2019s surface and how these may advance operational water management. The soil moisture retrieval will rely both on radar and radiometer satellite observations, which will be compared for their use in flood prediction systems.
