TALim: Talent Academy Limburg (R-12547)

The Talent Academy Limburg is an initiative to reduce educational inequality in certain municipalities of Limburg. Through a mix of activities, TALim wants to stimulate teenagers who grow up in socially vulnerable situations to discover and develop their-often hidden-talents and wants to strengthen them for the future. TALim also wants to be a powerful learning network that involves citizens and businesses in the emancipation and integration of teenagers in vulnerable situations. This not only benefits these young people, but also contributes to a more inclusive and solidarity-based society. But it also contributes to strengthening the labor market by reducing early school dropout rates so that young people with a diploma are available for the labor market. After a first pilot in the school year 2021-2022 in Genk, TALim wants to start in Beringen in October 2022.
