Understanding political change from the Margins: Social and Environmental Justice in Morocco and Tunisia.

This sets out to explore the complex interplay between political transformation, (economic) globalization and contentious politics from the margins in Morocco and Tunisia. By using the margins as a lens, the project contributes to the existing debates in three academic fields: development studies, (post-)democratization studies and social movement theory (SMT).
