Project

Valorization of organic side streams U+2013 Development of 2nd generation technologies for the biobased economy in Flanders.

The project is subdivided into three components:

- development of a database of organic side streams and technological expertise available in Flanders;

- development of second generation technologies for the transformation of (waste)oils, fats and side streams rich in lignocellulose into feedstocks for bioenergy, chemistry, paper, the building industry, textile, U+2026

- economic, logistic and sustainability analyses aimed at actual implementation in Flanders.
