Vulnerability for depression during the life span: the influence of time perspective on attentional bias for negative versus positive interpersonal information

This project investigates the relationship between time perspective, attentional bias for affective stimuli and mood in a life span perspective. Because attentional bias is a vulnerability factor for depression, and because it is a bias that occurs at later stages of information processing, it is clinically relevant to investigate which top-down processes influence this bias, to underpin possible therapeutic interventions.
