Topography and Toponymy in the Ancient Near East: Perspectives and Prospects

This volume resulted from an international conference held at the Université catholique de Louvain in February 2014. Titled 'Topography and Toponymy in Perspectives and Prospects,' the conference was part of the IAP Project 'Greater Mesopotamia: Reconstruction of Its Environment and History' (IAP 7/14), funded by BELSPO and under my direction. The twelve papers cover Anatolia, the Levant, Mesopotamia, Iran, and Elam, organized by region. I proofread and edited articles by D. Michaux-Colombot, M. Forlanini, M. Luukko, and A. Goddeeris.
