  • Research Expertise:1. Product-service system (PSS) design | mainly, 3 barriers prevent companies from upscaling towards it: - while companies may show ambition for further growth by improving current PSS offerings, thus unlocking their current PSS potential, they have insufficient knowledge to roll out current PSS. - manufacturers often put emphasis on innovating either products or technologies, and treat service as an add-on; they have insufficient experience in an integrated design approach to create new PSS. - in companies that are having trouble upscaling PSS, the root of the problem often lies in an unsupportive organizational logic, which prevents the company from successfully creating and implementing integrated PSS. - I developed (PhD) PSS design methodology supporting this process. - Creativity Support Index | psychometric survey (tool) can be used to interpret the support of creativity tools (during creative processes) on 6 factors: collaboration, immersion, resultswortheffort, expressiveness, enjoyment, exploration. - Research on PSS design applications and closely connected to industry (in close relation to the design studio 12ECTS) 2. Service design: Service design (in innovation) reflects society. Often strongly intertwined with, but also alongside "the product," the ubiquitous share of service and intangible components is evolving into an ever-growing experience economy. Service design is a strategic discipline that originated in Europe and is rapidly spreading worldwide. At its core is the belief that services can and should be designed with the same care as products, with a view to optimizing the user experience. In other words, service design is the bridge between strategy and experience. It is activated when you rethink, reimagine and create every stage and aspect of the interaction (touchpoint) between customers and any organization. 3. Increasing the efficiency of the process from early stage (FEI) ideation of new products and services towards feasible market opportunities in organisations. - Developed Idea to Market toolkit (I2M) supports this process. 4. well-designed products and services result from a thorough understanding of the needs of users. The importance of a user-centred approach cannot be emphasized enough. - Developed Human centered design (HCD) roadmap supports this process. 5. Research methodology: Design research (Research In Design Context & Design Inclusive Research) 6. Background in change management
