Sam Van Wassenbergh

  • Research Expertise:Working as a researcher at the laboratory for Functional Morphology, I study how the anatomy and mechanical properties of the body of animals is adapted to fulfil its functions. My main emphasis is to achieve fundamental insight into the biomechanics, and how this is influenced by variation in the anatomical components. The majority of my research focusses on the function of the head of vertebrate animals during feeding.
