  • Research Expertise:My research is situated in the domain of private international law. In this domain I work on different topics such as international contract law, international family law and international civil procedure. I focus on the international, European and national aspects of private international law. The common thread throughout my work has always been and remains vulnerability and vulnerable groups. This can concern children or adults with a handicap. It can also encompass consumers or other groups that are in a weak bargaining position in an international contract setting or that deserve special protection in international procedures.
