SPIR or the Spine Research Group aims to bundle spine research within the Faculty of Physical Education and Physiotherapy and to try to develop larger-scale scientific projects. The research includes both fundamental and functional aspects, ranging from the study of anatomical variations of the vertebrae to prevention of complaints and the development of intervention programs to the kinesitherapeutic treatment of spine related problems.
