This study concerns the enrolment and fall out ot young volunteers in Flemish youth associations. The focus is on 'youth work as a practice of power' and on institutional practices of asking and supporting new youth leaders. This study intents to contribute to the pedagogic discussion concerning unequal participation in voluntary associations.
