2018 National Assessment of Dutch (Reading, Listening and Writing) in Primary Education in Flanders KU Leuven
In 2018 a national assessment was carried out, which was commissioned by the Flemish government, to assess whether pupils have sufficient skills to read, listen and write in Dutch at the end of primary education. Attainment targets for reading were already assessed for the fourth time, attainment targets for listening for the third time and attainment targets for writing for the first time. Previous assessments took place in 2013, 2007 and 2002. Data were collected through a written listening and reading test.
