This project aims to assess the cost-effectiveness of prevention focussed on physical exercise, balanced nutrition, and a healthy lifestyle in general. It consists of a literature review, a cost-of-illness study, a quasi-experimental design in the community setting and a decision analytical model to translate the findings into long-term health and economic consequences.
