The World Register of Introduced Marine Species (WRiMS) records which marine species in the World Register of Marine species (WoRMS) have been introduced deliberately or accidentally by human activities to geographic areas outside their native range. It excludes species that colonised new locations naturally (so called ‘range extensions’), even if in response to climate change.
600 marine accepted species were randomly selected from all accepted marine species described in 2013-2017. For each species, a number of metrics were extracted from their original descriptions. These metrics included information on their ecological and geographical origin, the context and method(s) of their discovery, their scientific publications and their authorship.
This dataset contains the data collected during an experimental study at the MALL, involving 13 experienced treadmill users. The GRFs were registered by an instrumented split-belt treadmill (Forcelink) with a sampling rate of 1 kHz. Six running speeds were considered for each participant. These speeds were chosen in the range that was considered comfortable for the involved participant. For each running speed, a measurement time of 2 minutes was considered which allowed for the registration of approximately 300 steps for each trial. In addition to the GRFs, the body motion was registered. A ...
This dataset contains extensive data on the physicochemical properties (pH, nitrogen, carbon, etc.) of digestate and the liquid fraction of digestate, which was compiled from a private digestate registry (European Biogas Association) further amended with data collected from literature, experimental characterisation of fresh digestate samples, and industrial biogas stakeholders.
