Addressing Educational Inequalities in Flanders: An Exploration of the 'Commons' Framework in Secondary Education Ghent University
This research explores the "commons" framework as a potential alternative to the prevailing neoliberal hegemony in education that excludes vulnerable youth. We explore its potential in current secondary education through two case studies. Through observations, interviews, focus groups and the implementation of two "commons" projects, we engage school boards, teachers, parents and students to identify barriers and opportunities.
