Micro/nanotechnology and medical diagnostics: Development of a multiplexed nano-bio-sensing system for in-parallel monitoring of multiple health biomarkers Ghent University
Multiplexed biosensing technologies can bring an important impact to the medical practice reflecting more accurately the health status and favouring a quicker, more accurate, and early detection of a disease by maximizing the amount of information that can be obtained.
The project aims to develop a new biosensing technology based on micro/nano-systems for performing reliably and efficiently monitoring of multiple key biological ...
Environmental impact of ajuvants in crop protection Ghent University
Adjuvants enhance the overall performance of crop protection products by strengthening the efficiency of the active compounds, stabilizing the formulation and reducing the risks for the user and environment. Although djuvants are an important part of formulations, the documentation of their environmental impact (toxicity) is poor. This project studies the environmental impact by means of residue test and bio-sensor tests.
