Development of a proficiency-based stepwise training curriculum for chest drainage. Ghent University
The aim of this research project is the development of a chest drainage training curriculum for surgical trainees. This is a stepwise proficiency-based curriculum during which participants will train on several training models. After being proficient, competence of participants will be assessed in patients. The purpose is to demonstrate that this curriculum improves patient safety.
