Options to extend the product life time by implementing reparability criteria for energy related products KU Leuven
The aim of this study is to ivestigate extending product life time by exploring reparability criteria for products. the implementation of these criteria into a product standard could be used to:
- set minimum requirements that can help making products last longer
- make relevant information available; allowing consumers to choose to purchase products that can be more easily repaired and upgraded and whose parts and materials ...
Predictors and consequences of perinatal mental (un)health. Influence of professional activity, social support, leisure time on perinatal mental health and health and consequences for development in the 1st year of life KU Leuven
This research proposal focuses on predictors of experienced mental problems and resilience of professionally active and non-professional (expectant) mothers and their partners during the perinatal period, and on the consequences for the parents themselves and for the offspring in the first year of life, with the aim of to draw up prevention strategies and to be able to adequately estimate their efficiency and effectiveness .
Vulnerability for depression during the life span: the influence of time perspective on attentional bias for negative versus positive interpersonal information Ghent University
This project investigates the relationship between time perspective, attentional bias for affective stimuli and mood in a life span perspective. Because attentional bias is a vulnerability factor for depression, and because it is a bias that occurs at later stages of information processing, it is clinically relevant to investigate which top-down processes influence this bias, to underpin possible therapeutic interventions.
SBO project: Nanobody Life Time imaging to Enhance Surgery (NLITESurgery) Vrije Universiteit Brussel
NLITESurgery aims to investigate novel intraoperative imaging
applications based on time-domain fluorescence lifetime imaging (tdFLI)
that will surpass the more traditional fluorescence guided surgery field
by increasing image specificity and providing new information on
(patho)physiological processes. More specifically, we propose to
conceive a ...
