Onderzoeksexpertise:Yunsun have various experiences in analytical environmental chemistry field. She have developed sample preparation and instrumental method for emerging contaminants such as phthalates, bisphenols and perfluroalkyl substances (PFASs). Regarding this, she managed various types of high-technology analytical instrument including gas chromatography (GC) and liquid chromatography (LC) coupled with single mass spectrometry (MS) or tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS). One of the interesting finding in her previous research is about PFASs that she found several emerging PFASs in various environmental matrices including marine mammal. The result of her study was the first research on emerging PFASs in Korean environment which initiate monitoring emerging PFASs in other matrices (e.g., water, sediment, fish, etc.) of Korea.
