Phylodynamica voor tijd-senstitieve data

Given the massive health and economic risks posed by emerging infectious diseases (such as Ebola, Zika, H5N1, H1N1, etc) there is a great need for developing faster methods for analysing their evolution and spread, so that timely measures can be put in place to drastically reduce the number of casualties. The aim of this Phd is to develop novel Bayesian Phylogenetic methods that can handle a large amount of sequences and that can deal with new data as it becomes available.
