Onderzoek naar structurele tekorten en voorspellende uitkomsten bij patiënten met cognitieve stoornissen na een beroerte

The main goal of this study is to evaluate the role of frailty in the evolution of cognitive decline after ischemic stroke. Secondary aims will be : to assess both onset and worsening of behavioral and psychological symptoms related to cognitive decline; to evaluate structural and functional deficits using MRI and EEG according to frailty status. Patients affected by ischemic stroke will be stratify according to a frailty index in three clusters and they will be follow for 18 months with 3 follow up every six months. During the follow up visit, physical and cognitive symptoms will be assessed using clinical scale, MRI and EEG.
