  • Onderzoeksexpertise:(PhD in plantscience (Université Paris Sud IX)) started working at PCG in 2016. She is responsible for the coordination of research related to open air vegetables and protected cultivation. As such, she gained experience in the management of field trials in which different anatomical or physiological plant characteristics are assessed (e.g. plant architecture and disease susceptibility in a variety of host-pathogen combinations, respectively). Previously, she worked as a Post-doctoral researcher at the VIB-UGent Center for Plant Systems Biology (Frank Van Breusegem Lab) and KU Leuven (Bruno Cammue lab) on abiotic stress responses and antifungal peptides. In 2012, she obtained her PhD at the Université Paris Sud IX under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Graham Noctor. There she studied interactions between light, CO2 and oxidative stress in Arabidopsis. Prior to her doctoral research, she worked as a researcher at Bayer CropScience, Ghent.
