The molecular configuration and chemistry at the zinc/zinc oxide-polyester interface were studied by using two complementary spectroscopic techniques: attenuated total reflection-Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR) and sum-frequency generation (SFG) spectroscopy.
