VEG-i-TEC - Potato and vegetable process line
A process line for processing vegetables and potatoes from harvest to processed product, both fresh and frozen. This process line has a modular set-up with conveyor belts arranged in a movable way to flexible guide the product flow. In this way, the sequence of unit processes can be tailored to the prevailing demand as well as external equipment can be easily incorporated. In addition to the focus on processing, it is easy to link up with water treatment plants (present or to be brought in) and the line is equipped with a full monitoring system to map all consumption (water, energy). These are complemented by existing or potential new quality measurements (both on water and product).
