Influence of prosthetic design, alignment strategy and robotics on stability in total knee arthroplasty

The goal of this doctoral thesis is to investigate some important questions in the field of total knee arthroplasty: what is the influence of the prosthetic design (CR, PS, bicruciate retaining) on the stability of the knee? How can choosing the right prosthetic design and alignment method as well as the use of robotics aid in optimizing patient satisfaction? Different study designs (literature studies, cadaveric studies and clinical trials with gait labs) will be used to comprehensively answer these questions.
