Proposal for the deployment of EBSI production nodes and provision of support services to EBSI network at the european level (EBSI-NE)

The European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI) comprises a peer-to-peer network hosting a blockchain-based services infrastructure. The consortium's goal is to support the development of the EBSI network at the European level. This involves increasing the number of validator nodes in the production network and providing supportive services to all relevant EBSI stakeholders. The consortium consists of 24 organizations from 15 European countries, including governmental agencies, public institutions, and academia. These members bring extensive experience in Distributed Ledger Technologies and previous EBSI ecosystem initiatives, including the deployment of pre-production nodes. Furthermore, all consortium members operating an EBSI production node have received support from the representative of their respective countries' European Blockchain Partnership.
