VUB Children's University - become a student for one day (VLOV230)
The target audience for this educational program consists of pupils from Dutch-speaking primary schools in Brussels, specifically those in the 5th and 6th grades.
The VUB Children's University brings university research to children’s level. Researchers, in close collaboration with the science communication team, develop a workshop based on their research and expertise. These workshops are offered weekly to pupils in the 5th and 6th grades. Science, in the broadest sense of the word, is covered, ranging from physics and medicine to psychology and educational sciences.
Our vision and objectives clearly and concisely explain how we aim to develop this initiative moving forward. Both documents can be found in the attachments.
