Explaining emotional memory: incorporating emotional memory within new metatheories frameworks of memory

Recent philosophy of emotional memory suggests different ways of being emotional about the past, which is incompatible with its adoption of classical causal theory. Current philosophers oppose this metatheory by developing revised causal theories, simulation theories, or enactivism. This proposal
aims to incorporate the philosophy of emotional memory into these new metatheoretical frameworks.
