Honey value chain analysis, challenges for smallholder beekeepers’ profitability and modern beehive adoption in Southwest Ethiopia
Ethiopia has a huge beekeeping potential due to its conducive agroecology. However, this potential is not well utilized and the smallholder beekeepers insufficiently manage to benefit within this sector. This study aim to analyse ways to better exploit the existing honey production potential to improve the livelihood of beekeepers’ and the country’s economy based on qualitative and quantitative studies and data collected from honey value chain stakeholders.
