"Light It Right – MERLIN BASE" is an interactive and educational project that takes participants on a captivating journey of discovery in the fight against light pollution. Designed with the primary goal of sparking interest in science and technology, we transport our visitors to a completely darkened tent for a series of enchanting experiments with light, including an aquarium where organisms dance on light, a starry sky that reveals more or fewer stars depending on ambient light, a small aquarium with bioluminescent plankton that you can illuminate, and a DIY corner with a village diorama where you can use optics to reduce light pollution from streetlights and even measure the effect. Instant results! We even provide a fog machine that will occasionally simulate a cloudy night! We invite participants of all ages to experiment, explore, and marvel as they discover the scientific principles behind these enchanting light experiments. This project will not only be an educational experience, but also a magical journey into the world of light, science and technology.
