Disengagement radicalized detainees: description and evaluation practice.

Starting from the definition of a dismissal program used by the Flemish government, cited within the national and international literature, with programs for deradicalization and disengagement (especially in prison), this research examines what the content of the counseling programs is (theory, methodologies, consultants profile, preconditions, ...) and in what context (participants, partners, prison, assistance network, socio-political climate, ...) they are deployed.

In addition, this research will provide a description of the other professional practices of the consultants (nature and methodology of professional advice, contextual embedding, vision development).

It is intended to describe the above aspects and develop indicators that allow an estimation of the efficacy and process results. This estimation must indicate whether the embedding/positioning of the consultants in a government context is an obstacle or an advantage.
