Functional chracterisation of regulatory cell populations:In vitro induction of tolerance using dendritic cells.

In the current project, our aim is to further investigate and exploit the capacity of dendritic cells and regulatory T cells to suppress antigen-specific immune responses. A better understanding of their interactions, as well as the mechanisms involved in the induction of peripheral T cell tolerance will ultimately lead to the development of new therapies for immune-mediated pathologies.
