Job Burned In or Out? An interdisciplinary and dynamic perspective on the causes and consequences of burn-out
This project provides an integrated perspective on (i) the socio-economic and psychological determinants of burn-out and (ii) its career consequences. With respect to theory, psychological models are enriched with “hard” socio-economic indicators. With respect to empirics, qualitative and
quantitative research is combined to investigate (as a first) the dynamic, causal relationship between burn-out and other socio-economic and psychological constructs.
