Expert evidence - additional evidence

Lack ofadversiality in expert testimony and the hearing of the expert as compensation; Discussess the possibilities of adversiality with expert tesimonies and the sanction in case of a lack of adversiality. Further it discusses the possibility to compensate the lack by hearing the expert a the trial. The question is then if this a form of active role by the trial judge and even if this is the recognition of his active role in Belgian criminal procedure.
